Edge Portal

Multi-tenant self-service portal for the Edge Developer Platform

Overview

The Edge Portal is the multi-tenant self-service surface of the EDP. Organisations register a tenant, receive their own workspace, and manage their resources through a web frontend backed by a BFF (backend-for-frontend). The BFF is a Hono service on Bun that fronts kcp through the APISIX gateway; per-tenant routes are protected by SSO (OpenID Connect).

Each tenant is reached at <slug>.ec.dev.t09.de, and tenant onboarding creates the corresponding workspace and routing automatically.

This is distinct from the sovereign EdgeConnect cloud, which is a separate product despite the similar name.

API

The BFF’s HTTP API is described by an OpenAPI document. See the API Reference for the interactive explorer and the machine-readable spec.

Repositories

1 - API Reference

OpenAPI reference for the Edge Portal BFF.

Overview

The Edge Portal BFF publishes an OpenAPI 3.0 document generated from its route schemas. Both the interactive reference and the raw spec are served publicly on the dev environment (currently the only environment):

ResourceURL
Interactive reference (Scalar)https://docs.ec.dev.t09.de/ui
OpenAPI spec (JSON)https://docs.ec.dev.t09.de/doc

The interactive reference also links to the raw spec, so you can browse at /ui and grab the JSON from there.

Using the spec

Fetch /doc to generate a client or validate against the contract:

curl -s https://docs.ec.dev.t09.de/doc -o edge-portal-bff.openapi.json

The spec is versioned with the BFF: it reflects whatever release is deployed to dev. Only the spec (/doc) and the reference (/ui) are exposed on this host — the live /bff endpoints are served per-tenant behind SSO and are not reachable here.
